Tour Itinerary

DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN SRI LANKA - TRANSFER TO SIGIRIYA

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport.

Meet your tour guide and transfer to Sigiriya.

Check into your hotel in Sigiriya.

Rest and relax after your journey.

DAY 2 - SIGIRIYA - EXPLORE LION ROCK AND SURROUNDINGS

After breakfast, visit the ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Climb the iconic Lion Rock and admire the ancient frescoes and stunning views from the summit.

In the afternoon, explore the nearby Pidurangala Rock for panoramic views of the Sigiriya area.

Return to your hotel in Sigiriya for overnight stay.

DAY 3 - SIGIRIYA TO POLONNARUWA

After breakfast, depart for Polonnaruwa, another UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Explore the ruins of the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, including the Royal Palace, Gal Vihara, and other archaeological sites.

After sightseeing, proceed to Anuradhapura.

Check into your hotel in Anuradhapura for an overnight stay.

DAY 4 - ANURADHAPURA TO KANDY VIA DAMBULLA

After breakfast, visit the sacred city of Anuradhapura, home to ancient Buddhist monuments and sacred sites.

Explore important sites such as Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanwelisaya, and Abhayagiriya.

Continue to Kandy, stopping at the Dambulla Cave Temple en route.

Check into your hotel in Kandy.

DAY 5 - KANDY - CITY TOUR AND CULTURAL SHOW

After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Kandy.

Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), a significant Buddhist shrine.

Explore the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and witness a cultural dance performance in the evening.

DAY 6 - KANDY TO NUWARA ELIYA VIA RAMBODA

After breakfast, depart for Nuwara Eliya, known as "Little England" due to its colonial architecture and cool climate.

En-route, visit the Ramboda Falls and a tea plantation/factory to learn about tea production.

Arrive in Nuwara Eliya and check into your hotel.

Explore the picturesque town and enjoy the serene surroundings.

DAY 7 - NUWARA ELIYA TO ELLA - SCENIC TRAIN JOURNEY

After breakfast, take a scenic train journey from Nuwara Eliya to Ella.

Marvel at the stunning landscapes of tea plantations, mountains, and waterfalls during the train ride.

Upon arrival in Ella, check into your hotel.

Visit the Nine Arch Bridge and enjoy panoramic views from Little Adam's Peak.

DAY 8 - ELLA TO UDAWALAWE - WILDLIFE SAFARI

After breakfast, depart for Udawalawe National Park.

Enjoy an afternoon jeep safari in Udawalawe National Park, known for its elephant population and diverse wildlife.

Spot elephants, birds, deer, and maybe even leopards during the safari.

After the safari, proceed to Negombo.
